Celebrating Sundays

Sundays have always been my favorite day of the week; I hope Anna-Kate (and all our children) grow to feel the same way! At least walking with daddy at church is great fun, hopefully a good start.

2 Months Old

Melt-my-heart-grin
So serious So funny

Thinking about it

Loves it

Definitely a cutie...

...maybe a little silly too

I love this little man!

Confused is the Theme of the Day

Anna-Kate, daddy got to ride on a plane today. Daddy is outside...on a airplane? Yes, daddy went to a meeting in Washington DC.

A few hours later.....Anna-Kate tell our friend where daddy is. Daddy went on a airplane to a cd player. Sort of Anna-Kate, sort of.

Mommy, when I was a penguin, I slid down the ice. I was on the snow. Then I slid on the ice. I said, oopsy. You did that? Yes, when I was a penguin.

This picture speaks for itself. Christmas pajamas with Easter eggs...
...at least we were sharing!

First Smiles

Our first major milestone...a smile! Right at 7 weeks, Benjamin gave us his first real smile and we have been seeing at least a couple smiles everyday since. Here is my first attempt to capture that handsome grin on camera

Monday

Hey Mom and Dad!
Since I am a girl of few words right now, Mrs. becca helped me put this together to show you what our day looks like. Enjoy!
Love,
Natalie

8:30 - I'm here and already playing with their toys.
8:45 - Breakfast time. Anna-Kate woke up late, so she was eating breakfast with me.

8:46 - Benjamin slept through breakfast.

9:20 - Breakfast is over and I get to play for a few minutes before my nap.

10:00 - I am napping, so Mrs. becca plays with Anna-Kate. (We admit that AK has not gotten out of her pj's yet.)

11:00 - "Mrs. becca, I am ready to play again!"

11:15 - Benjamin needs to eat, so we are playing.

11:18 - Anna-Kate likes to talk to me; she says, "Hey baby Natalie! You can play with this toy." One time I spit up a little and Anna-Kate helped me.

11:35 - I am really trying to strengthen my muscles; maybe I will be able to crawl after Anna-Kate soon!

12:50 - So, does this work as an accessory or is it a little much?

1:15 - It's time to clean up before nap time. Don't worry Mom and Dad, Anna-Kate said it was okay that I didn't help.

4:00 - Sometimes when Benjamin needs to eat too, Mrs. becca lets me get in Benjamin's "nest" to have my bottle.

4:25 - Anna-Kate gets to do the coolest things! I wasn't allowed to hold a marker, so I played with a block instead.

I miss you Mom and Dad, but I have fun with Mrs. becca, Anna-Kate and Benjamin!

Confessions of a Chocoholic Mom

I think I may be influencing my daughter...maybe too much!

Quote of the Day

As her two coffee-holic parents enjoyed their cups of coffee this morning, Anna-Kate said to her daddy,
"When I get bigger, I am going to drink princess coffee."

Around our House

Watching our little man grow...

...apparently he is watching himself grow too!

We color alllll day long!!!

Anna-Kate works her parents all the time by saying, "do you want to color with me," as she tilts her head and says it softly and sweetly. How can we say no to that?!

When we aren't coloring, we are reading!

Anna-Kate is insistent that you hold a book as she is holding hers here.

Add a tired mom and dad and you have a great picture of our house these days!
